Ghandhiji Soap Carving

Suddenly something struck me when I saw a little “medimix” soap. I thought to sculpt something out of it. I tried to do my first soap carving without any proper tutorials. Didn’t even had the proper tools to carve. Yet I tried something with a needle and safety pin.

I made a Ghandhi carving on the soap. It’s not that easy as you think. Anything could go wrong if you give a forcible cut on it. Here you go, my first soap carving.

I wanted to study all the techniques in the right way, and carve out a better one sooner. Also I wish to post all the step by step pictures of all my DIY projects in my blog.

How to combine pdf files in LibreOffice?

Combining two pdf files have been easier with LibreOffice software. The steps below show you how to do that. Open the pdf file in LibreOffice. Then open the second pdf file. From the left corner select the pages you need to combine with the first file. Copy the pages. Ctrl+C is ok here. Select the page in the first pdf where you wish to amend the copied pages of the second file. Just paste the pages. Ctrl+V is fine here. Now that click Export pdf button (Make sure no particular page is selected when exporting to a pdf). There you go with the combined pdf files. The pictorial representation is given below in screenshots. Open the first pdf file (named as Paper 4) in LibreOffice software. Paper 4 is opened now. Open the second pdf file (named as Paper 5). Posters for VBS 2017 (Tamil)

You would be loaded with happiness when your kid is ready to go for a VBS. Every child loved to go. When I was I kid, I enjoyed most of the summer vacations in these Bible classes, learning new songs (still remembering few songs), Bible stories, Activities, and much more. This year my son, who is 2 years and 4 months old is in the Beginner class. At first, he looked a little scared and then he started to become normal. His class had five students, of which four were girls. Being the only boy in the class, he was interested in looking at their frocks as he hadn't noticed anything so closer. First two days, I accompanied him, and the rest by his grandmother. The teacher of his class asked me to make posters, so that it would be easier at the inspection day. And so, I made seven posters for 7 days. The theme of VBS 2017 was 'virumbu' (desire). I downloaded few outline images, so I can draw and cut out them.
